Dell China 1st flagship customer service centre opens in Xiamen
Dell China, the third-largest and fastest-growing computer-systems company in China, announced on 14th Jan. 2009 that it has opened its first flagship customer service centre in Xiamen.
The store, located on Xianyue Road, covers an area of 300 square metres with a reception area, a waiting area, a static-free maintenance area and a meeting area. Customers can directly take their computers to the service centre for any repair.
It is reported that Dell began offering customer carry-in service since last July. Before that, Dell only provided post sales service by answering maintenance calls from customers.
"It can meet the needs of the customers who are not familiar with computers." said Yang Chao, Dell Greater China Consumer Business General Manager. “It is a great time to open a flagship customer service centre in Xiamen. Beginning with Xiamen, we will open more service centres across China in the future.”
Dell China opened its manufacturing operation in Xiamen in 2006. It also has an Enterprise Command Center in Xiamen that provides customers with mission-critical enterprise services.
