Students and Teachers Eager in Donating Money with Love for Yushu
The 7.1-magnitude quake shook Yushu County in Qinghai Province at 7:49 am on Wednesday, April 14. The center of the earthquake was close to a town with a population of 100,000, which resulted in serious casualties and property loss. As the saying goes, “When disaster strikes, help comes from all sides”. The Red Cross Student Association of PKU quickly reacted overnight to get in contact with the Red Cross Society of Beijing for preparation of raising money. They called for the entire university to show their love by donating money for Yushu County.
