GDUFS and NYIT MBA Project Launched
November 30-The MBA Project between GDUFS and NYIT has gone into full swing. To help promote the project, the leaders of MBA Center Sun Jianjun, Ma Shaozhuang and Xu Yiqing answered students' questions in informational meetings at GDUFS’s northern and southern campuses.
The All-English teaching MBA Project combines the best of East meets West as it utilizes advanced educational concepts, teaching materials and professional teachers. The project requires students to finish seven courses in China before going abroad to finish their MBA at NYIT. Once finished, they will receive a MBA degree that is recognized in both New York and China. This is very convenient for students.
NYIT, which is located in New York, has been selected many times by US News and World Report as one of the most competitive science and technology colleges. There are three people from NYIT who have gone onto be awarded the Nobel Prize. As well, Bill Gates also won the "Medal of Principle". NYIT, which ranked 65th among the A universities in 2008, has continued its cooperation with Qinghua University, Tongji University and many other high-level universities in China including GDUFS.
Sun Jianjun emphasized that most of the MBA project professors are not only book smart but have also held administrative positions in transnational corporations. The professors have set up the famous Schoolfellow System for graduated students to participate in that promotes the exchange of career opportunities.
