Farewell to the First Group of Long-term Exchange Students from Partner Universities
A very special farewell meeting was held in the International Cooperation and Exchange Office in the afternoon, 14th Jan. Three students of the first group of long-term exchange students from partner universities have finished their study at CTBU and were about to go back to home. Director Han of ICEO and all the office staff in charge of International students affairs took part in the meeting.
Neil Byrd, a student of Western Carolina University of U.S.A., Joep Jocef from Windesheim University of the Netherlands and Huang Enxi from Woosong University, Korea have finished their half-year exchange study at CTBU successfully. Neil and Joep took subject courses of economics and business taught in English, while Huang Enxi specialized in the Chinese language study.
Ms Han expressed her appreciation to the students for choosing CTBU and highly praised them for their hard working and improvement. The three students said that they benefited a lot from the study here. With Chinese teachers’ help, their Chinese has been improved a lot;and they have had a very happy life at CTBU with care from the international office and their Chinese one-for-one student assistant . At the same time, they also had a further and better understanding about Chongqing and China.
At the end of meeting, they were so excited for presents from the International Office. The students said they would like to be an ambassadors to the friendship between their home universities and CTBU and they hoped more fellow students could come to CTBU and had the same experience as them.
