Vice President Prof. of RUC watched the Last Rehearsal of RUC Student Arts Troupe

Vice President Prof. Chen Yulu watched the last rehearsal of RUC student arts troupe before their performance tour to Confucius Institutes in America on Jan.20th, 2010. Prof. Chen hoped students to fully showcase the spirit of modern Chinese youth and RUC students by giving a high quality performance so as to make their contribution for improving the international image of Renmin University.

In order to spread the Chinese culture and celebrate the traditional Chinese Lunar New Year, a total of 24 students from RUC student dance group, chorus group and orchestra group would take a performance tour to the Confucius Institutes in Mexico, Costa Rica and United States of America from Jan. 21st to Feb. 1st, 2010, in accordance with the developmental strategy of Hanban. It was the third time for RUC student arts troupe to take a performance tour abroad during the past half year of 2009, which would of great help for expanding the influence of Renmin University in American countries, deepening the friendship between Chinese youth and local young people, and increasing the communication between the educational institutions of China and America.
