University of Portsmouth Delegation Visits GDUFS

March 4 - Director of the Institute of Languages and Areas at the University of Portsmouth, John Naysmith, together with Dr. Lin Zheng and Chief Representative from the China division of the University of Portsmouth, Dr. Yang Minghe, visited the International College of GDUFS. Dean Chen Linhan warmly welcomed the visitors.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to cooperate to enhance teaching quality. They also went over a plan to increase the number of UK teachers coming to GDUFS, as well covered the arrangements and details to hold an academic symposium in the future. Meanwhile, the two sides also agreed to continue to cooperate and cross- promote the two universities.
Another meeting with the International College students was organized by the International College. There, John Naysmith and Dr. Lin Zheng took the time to carefully answer questions, such the cost of studying in the UK. They also talked about the teaching features and campus environment at UK universities.
