Fujian Marine Degrees

Quanzhou Normal University (QNU) in Fujian Province will open seamanship and marine engineering majors in co-operation with the Kaohsiung Marine University and Taipei College of Maritime Technology in Taiwan. QNU and the China Quanzhou Int'l Techno-economic Cooperation (group) Co., Ltd signed an agreement on Wednesday. Leaders of the parties involved said Taiwan has rich experience in teaching, while there was still much space for Quanzhou to foster its own sailing talents. Officials from QNU will visit Taiwan next week to sign agreements, the China News Service reported.
