A Delegation From Saudi Arabia in China Commissioners Visit GDUFS

Transtlate A delegation from the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in China led by Dr.Saleh Al Sagri, commissioner of the Culture Office, visited GDUFS north campus last Thursday. They were greeted by GDUFS President Sui Guangjun, accompanied by Jiao Fangtai, Director of the International Office, and Wei Lixin, Dean of the Faculty of Asian Languages and Culture.
Mr. Sui Guangjun first briefed the guests on GDUFS’s development as well as the academic situation at the school’s Arabic Department. He thanked the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in China for the assistance it provides in the development of the university’s Arabic language and culture study programs, including a donation of over 600 books to the GDUFS Library. Mr. Sui also expressed his hope for further support from the embassy culture office in an effort to promote culture exchange and cooperation between GDUFS and colleges in Saudi Arabia.
Dr.Saleh Al Sagri expressed his appreciation of the warm welcome. He opened by introducing admission requirements for international students in Saudi Arabia in addition to the function of the embassy culture office. As a first-time visitor to Guangzhou and GDUFS, Dr.Saleh Al Sagri expressed his desire for more chances to communicate and for a wider range of cooperation between GDUFS and Saudi Arabia colleges.
