The 2010 International Forum in Chongqing,China held at CTBU
The 2010 International Forum of Supply Chains and Logistics in Chongqing, China opened at 9:00 on April 24th. The forum was jointly conducted by CTBU, Wilfrid Laurier University of Canada, Chongqing Science And Technology Commission, Research Center of the Economy of the Upper Reaches of the Yangtze River, Chongqing Engineering Technology Research Center for Development Information Management. It aimed at building bridges between Chongqing and international community, widely taking in international and advanced ideas, and improving the overall level of supply chains and modern logistics industry. Tu Jingping, Deputy director of the General Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, Ryan Baerg, Consul of Canadian Consulate in Chongqing, and Wang Chongju, President of CTBU attended the ceremony and addressed the forum.
More than 100 officials and experts attended the conference representing Consulate of Canada in Chongqing, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, Chongqing Economy and Informatization Commission, Chongqing Administration Of Foreign Experts Affairs, Wilfrid Laurier University, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Chongqing Port Logistics Group Co., Ltd.
The forum obtained support from government departments and companies.
In two days, the participants exchanged views on the latest developments of supply chains and logistics management.
