President Wang Meets With Sarah Deverall from British Consulate-General
President Wang Chongju met with Sarah Deverall, Director of Cultural and Education Section of the British Consulate-General in Chongqing on May 3rd, and discussed the cooperation of the migrant worker training school project. Present were Li Dingqing, Mu Xiaoman, Dean and Vice-dean of School of Applied Technology and Zhou Qian, Deputy Director of International Cooperation & Exchange Office.
Ms.Sarah Deverall made a summary of the current cooperation in the project and put forward the working plan for the next step, to which President Wang made a positive response. He said, U.K. had much more experience in professional training which we could learn from. He also proposed that the migrant worker training project of CTBU should design the training content and the system and mechanism as well and make it an examplefor migrant worker training in China.
After the meeting, Sarah Deverall visited the site to be used for migrant wokrer training in the company of Prof. Wang.
