Transtlate The opening ceremony for the construction of Nanjing University Science Park was held on the morning of June 27. Assistant Governor Xu Nanping of Jiangsu Province and NJU Chancellor Prof. Hong Yinxing jointly inaugurated the opening ceremony.
Nanjing University has a fine tradition of serving the country’s development strategies and the local economy, said Chancellor Hong Yinxing. Nanjing University has established the science park to help further the transitional, innovative and leaping development of Nanjing City.
Up to now, nine institutions and enterprises have decided to settle in the NJU Science Park, including Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Nanjing Institute of Astronomical Optics & Technology (NIAOT), Nanjing University Press, and so on.News&Opinion
