Infor USA@BFSU is a platform to address the overall level of public misunderstanding between China and the US, to tell the American story to the Chinese people through culture, history and politics, and to allow access to a variety of Americans. It intends to reach out not only to Chinese college students, educators, researchers, journalists, but also the general public. Its primary activities are twofold:
Firstly, administration and coordination of programs (such as lectures, discussions, workshops, film festivals and exhibitions) that promote a better understanding between people from China and the US.
Secondly, provision of reference and research services to the Chinese public seeking information about the United States at the Info USA@BFSU Reading Room as well as through the BFSU library.
