CSC delegate attends the International Higher Education Exhibition held in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the first time

Introducing the Chinese Higher Education and Higher Institutes to Saudi Arabian students

From Jan. 26th to 29th, Chinese Higher Education Delegate，headed by the Secretary-General of CSC, Dr. Liu Jinghui, attended the First Higher Education Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The delegate member includes Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, East China Normal University, East China University of Science & Technology, Donghua University, Shanghai University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Zhejiang University and other famous universities in China.

Meeting with the Director-General, Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Ministry of Higher Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 

During the four days’ exhibition, Chinese Higher Education Delegation has received 5000 on-the-spot consultations, signed 2 MOUs and 10 cooperative projects have been negotiated. The attendance of the exhibition has introduced and publicized the reform and achievement of China’s Higher Education, promoted the Student Movement between China and Saudi Arabia, intensified the exchanges and cooperation in the academic field, and explored the international students’ market in Saudi Arabia.

Meeting with Ambassador Yang Honglin, Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 

During the exhibition, Dr. Liu Jinghui, the Secretary-General of CSC, has met with Mr. Salim Al Malik, the Director of Ministry of Higher Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,  the officials in charge of the King Abdullah Scholarship , paid a visit to the Chinese Ambassador to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Yang Honglin,. Dr. Liu Jinghui also visited the King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, listened to their introduction of these universities, and learned the development of the Higher Education in Saudi Arabia.
