Warm Welcome to the Tenth "Chinese Bridge" Competition for Foreign College Students

Transtlate July 11, 2011, 116 foreign college students from 68 countries of 88 competition area all around the world as well as previous outstanding athletes gathered in Beijing to visit Hanban / Confucius Institute Headquarters, and also warm welcomed by the leader of the Institute. Hanban held a grand welcoming ceremony to welcome this year and previous young and energetic contestants.
The beginning of the ceremony, Deputy Director of Hanban Hanban / Confucius Institute Headquarters Deputy Director-General Mr. Wang Yongli, Director of the exchange of major projects Hanban Miss Chen Mo and "Chinese Bridge" Competition Project Officer Nieting Jie teacher, teacher Huang Rui, Wang Kuan discuss the arrangement of “ Chinese Bridge” competition agenda. Discussion will be held by "Chinese Bridge" Competition Project Officer teacher Huang Rui. The players from the first "Chinese Bridge" contestants to "the ninth" are all extremely excited and active. They all recall the happy time during the competition and the emotion of through the "Chinese Bridge" competition players who change lives, change fate. Plaers’ wonderful speech won applause by the Hanban leaders.

Hanban Hanban Deputy Director / Deputy Director General of the Confucius Institute Headquarters, Mr. Wang Yongli, first delivered a warm speech. Hefirst welcomed the guests from afar on behalf of Hanban / Confucius Institute Headquarters and conveyed the greetings and congratulations to the players from the directo in far away Ethiopia. "Learn Chinese, friends all over the world", he wanted the players to encourage each other, support each other to overcome difficulties in life, and happiness and friendship in the following month. He pointed out that the significance of the game not only to show themselves, but also to make the whole world, and more parents, more children see the charm of Chinese language, Chinese culture. Hope players will treat the competition as a new start and explore the mysteries of Chinese culture with unique vision experience. Second, Deputy Director Wang made a brief introduction of construction and development of the global Confucius Institute classroom and hope the players give more support and more attention to the future development of the Confucius Institute. At last, Deputy Director Wang asked everybody to pay more attention to the health and ensure a good mental state. Hanban and volunteer teachers from Hunan mass communication university will offer a full-aspect service guarantee for the players
Grant ,the players ,from the United States made the speech on behalf of all the players of the ‘Ten session’ "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition. He mentioned the annual "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students affecting more and more countries and regions. In the process of learning Chinese, he found his own career development. "Chinese Bridge" as a bridge of friendship, make students gather together and learn from each other and form the different nationalities, different languages, different cultures with a big happy family.
The winner of Ninth "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition Grand Prize Jiang Sizhe do a wonderful speech for everyone, he pointed out: language is a key, you can understand a country through the language of culture, history, religion, thinking methods and other aspects.
