Overseas Students took part in Volunteer Activity

Recently, some overseas students and Chinese volunteers from College of Finance and Economics held an activity called "different national boundaries, same loving hearts" with unattended children in Hongguang community.
Two students, Alfred and Francis, from Ghana, enthusiastically chatted with children in fluent mandarin as soon as they arrived in Hongguang community. In the beginning of the activity, Francis played some games from their hometown with children. Children were uneasy at first, but as the games was played, the children will immersed in the games, and enjoyed themselves. They get along with overseas students very well. Then, the volunteers take out prepared blank kites and distributed to children. In the help of volunteers and foreign students, children scrawled on the kite, drew as they like. After painting the kite, volunteers took out shelf and line which can assemble a kite. They helped the children and foreign students fly the kites in the space behind the community. The community rang with cheers and laughter.
Although we come from different countries, we have the same love. This activity gives the opportunity to unattended children to communicate with foreign students irrespective of distance. It also makes the overseas students know more about China. They can participate in the volunteer work of taking care of unattended children.
