RUC Alumni Association of Los Angeles Sets Up

Transtlate RUC Alumni Association of Los Angeles was established on Nov. 8th, 2009 U.S local time. Mr. Su Rongsheng, President of Chinese Biz News was appointed as the first president of RUC Alumni of LA. Following RUC Alumni Associations of New York, Washington, Michigan, San Francisco，RUC Alumni Association of LA is the fifth RUC Alumni in USA.
RUC Vice-President Prof. Chen Yulu, and Mr. Chen Zhunmin, Education Consul Chief of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Los Angeles, attended the opening ceremony. RUC alumni, representatives from the LA Alumni Associations of Tsinghua University, Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China, Beijing Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and journalists from local newspapers and TV stations, all attended the opening ceremony of RUC Alumni Association of LA.
RUC Vice-President Prof. Chen Yulu delivered his congratulatory address and introduced the rapid development of RUC in the new century. He hoped that overseas alumni and alumni associations of Renmin University could play a positive role in promoting international strategies of the university.
Mr. Su Rongsheng, President of RUC Alumni Association of LA, expressed that all alumni of RUC were proud of the great progress of their alma mater, and would like to continuously devote themselves to the further development of RUC.
Representatives of the other Chinese universities Alumni Associations of LA also sent their congratulations on the establishment of RUC Alumni Association of LA.
The RUC Youth Chinese Orchestra showcased a wonderful Chinese folk concert which received extensive praise from Alumni of RUC.
