2010 New Year’s Performance of International Students Opens in RUC
2010 New Year’s Performance of International Students Opened in RUC on Dec.4th, 2009. In the name of “Blessing China”, the RUC international students showcased various excellent performances, including Chinese folk arts, Wushu, and Chinese opera, to bless the 60th anniversary of P.R. China and to express a good expectation of the new academic year.
The performance was organized by the Chinese Ministry of Education, co-organized by China Association for International Education, Beijing Association of Foreign Students’ Administration, and Renmin University of China, and operated by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. Mr. Yuan Guiren, Minister of Education, Mr. Hao Ping, Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Wang Anshun, Vice-Chairman of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Prof. Ji Baocheng, President of Renmin University of China, Prof. Cheng Tianquan, Chairman of the University Council, and Ms. Xue Huanbai, RUC Vice President, attended the meeting.
Representatives from Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commence, Ministry of Culture, the State Administration of Radio Film and Television, a total of 109 officials from 62 countries’ Embassies in Beijing, and international student representatives watched the performance.
