Transtlate RUC Vice-President Prof. Chen Yulu met with Prof. Nobuhiro Tabata, Vice President of Doshisha University, on Dec. 25th, 2009.
Prof. Tabata expressed his gratitude to Prof. Chen Yulu for the warm reception and introduced the development of Doshisha University. He said Doshisha had always been attaching great importance to the cooperation with RUC and looked forward to further bilateral collaboration in the future.
Prof. Chen Yulu extended his warm welcome to the delegation and said 2010 would mark the 20th anniversary of the two universities’ friendship since the signing of an intent agreement on exchange in 1990, so he expected to further develop bilateral cooperation.
On behalf of President Eiji Hatta, Prof. Tabata invited Prof. Chen Yulu to visit Doshisha University in the future. Prof. Chen expressed his appreciation and conveyed the greeting of President Ji Baocheng to President Eiji Hatta.
Prof. Qin Huimin, Director of the Institute of Education, RUC School of Public Administration, also attended the meeting.
