Several Soft Science Projects of Humanities Received the Support by Shanghai Fund
At the beginning of the new year, humanities of SJTU were greeted with happy news. Recently the results of 2010 Shanghai Science and Technology Development Fund for Soft Science Research Projects and the Doctorial Dissertation Fund was announced. Eight projects of soft sciences of SJTU received the fund with 5 key projects and 3 selected projects; 7 doctoral dissertations received the fund. It is known that this year altogether 24 research projects received the fund for soft science research key projects, and 26 research projects the fund for selected projects; 18 doctorial dissertations were supported by the fund. In both kinds of projects, SJTU got the most initiation funds among universities in Shanghai.
