Finnish Doctor Lectures on Financial Crisis
March 13 - On March 4th, Dr. Dan Steinbock, the Director of the New York Office of the Academy of Finland, and Visiting Professor at the Helsinki School of Economics in Finland, was invited to present a lecture on the current financial crisis to MBA students. Dr. Dan Steinbock is also the writer of the Mobile Revolution".
With abundant data and cases, Dr. Dan Steinbock analysed the reason and influence of the financial crisis, beginning with American economy. He pointed out that the crisis occupied a place inferior in severity only to the 1930s Great Depression. The MBA students benefited a lot form Dr. Dan Steibock's enlightening analysis, and were able to grasp a thorough understanding of economic models in developed countries.
Dr. Dan Steinbock highly commended the contribution the Chinese have made to the world economy. He went on to suggest that China and Indian are both working to keeping the world economy in balance.
