The Fourth Youth Salon on Biomedical Engineering Held at SJTU

Transtlate On the afternoon of April 22, the 4th Youth Salon on Biomedical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the 5th session of “Youth Forum” of the 6th Hospital were held in the Lecture Hall of the 6th Hospital. Fang Binghua, Party Secretary of the 6th Hospital and Ai Kaixing, Deputy Secretary, attended the event and delivered a speech. Vice Chairman of SJTU Labour Union and President of Young Teachers Association, Professor Wang Dezhong, and Deputy Secretary of University Youth League Committee, Zheng Jianzheng were present at the meeting. Professors and experts, young scholars and postgraduate and PhD candidates, altogether 100 people from School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Pharmacy, Med-X Research Institute, School of Environmental Science and Engineering and other engineering (science) schools and hospitals affiliated to School of Medicine participated in the salon. On the occasion of World Expo in Shanghai, the salon took “Better Innovation, Better Life; More Communication, more Harmonious Innovation” as the theme and carried out academic exchange with focus on “biological materials science, bio-medicine, genetics, medical and technology”.
