President Wang Meets With Kenya Ambassador to China
President Wang Chongju and Vice President Gou Chaoli met with Mr. Julius Ole Sunkuli, Kenya Ambassador to China, Mr. John Kilonz, Second Counsellor and Mr. George Gachoka, Commercial Attaché who visited CTBU, in company with Huang Rui, Director of African Division of Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipality on April 15th. Present were Liu Qin, Director of Office of Party and Administration Affairs, Zhang Yi, Deputy Director of OPPA, Han Yan, Director of International Cooperation & Exchange Office and Zhang Xinli, Dean of the School of Economics and Trade.
President Wang extended the warmest welcome to the delegation and expressed wishes to develop the cooperation with Universities of Kenya. Ambassador said, the cooperation between the Kenya and China has been strengthened since the two countries established diplomatic relationship in 1963 and he is looking forward to seeing more collaboration in higher education between the two countries.
Before the meeting, companied with VP Gou, the guests had an impressive campus tour.
